One or Maybe Four SneakPeeks

CosmoGirl! of The Year 2009 is near to your event-to-attend on your calender this December..We think, "hmmm..maybe it'll be so cool if we could do something"..and we tried to approach and decided to join them..and we DID it..
This is a big giant step for us..(surprisingly)
But we thought, "we have to..when are we going to have this kinda opportunity?"
Then...we love to give you sneak peeks of our design for the four winners..
Don't make fun of us, coz we're not very good at drawing or sketching..(jeez, we should've learn or go to fashion institute or something).. =PThe design itself is very simple (Za Za Zu-ish) but also we want to make a statement in each piece, so you'll see that there are strings, details on shoulder, and layers.
We do want to post the picture of the actual sketches-to-dresses, but...latter..
Meanwhile, we're trying to make you curious..(In which we hope we'll succeed)..=)

Here are the second collection...(piiiuuhhh...wiping our sweats)
This time we're trying to grasp our late design that we think are the favorites amongst our customers, into the new ones while trying to offer different silhouette and also we added more detail here-and-there.. =)
Chiffon is still our best friend..=D but there are also satins, the twins..(hahaha..not)

The Making of Second Collection

When our first collection launched at May 09, never in our mind that it would be a success..more that success I guess (in our terms, success is able to sell more than....what we can make..ahahaha)
So, now what next? In August, we've done some designs that we thought that they would be as good as the first ones (we hope)..
Sketch...Sketch..Sketch..
Finally, we've launched the second collection in September 09.."Yipiiiiiiiiiiiiii...!!!" We never have done it without all of the support we received from all of our friends, families, and our customers..

For the photo shoot, we did it at D'lounge cafe and with a help from our beloved friend Riri, who kind enough to volunteer herself to participate in the photo shoot..("Thank you lohh Mba Ririiiii", so Pritha would say)

First Collection

This was our first collection..we felt excited and nervous at the same time.. Can we explain a bit about the collection? hihihi.. The collection is based on chiffon fabric..(our friends surely know how much we love chiffons)..beside chiffon, there are other fabrics that we used..

Basically, in our collection, there are only dresses and tops..we make them loose, in pastel colors and also dark colors, comfortable, and simple.. we added some layers, pleats, and ruffles in some of our designs..you'll see..=)

One little thing, we can't sell them anymore..=( Because there's already a new collection.. so we guess it's our way to make the collection more exclusive..

Za Za Zu - First "vis-à-vis"

This is our first attempt to make a blog..=D
so..here it goes...(inhale...exhale...)

It started with a simple idea "how to make our passion in fashion tangible".. With our limited resources (not ashamed to admit it) and a high self-esteem (have to have that one), we created our own label "Za Za Zu"..

At first, we're both like "are you sure, Kar?" - "Yeah..just go with it, Prit!!"..Then, from just an idea, we can make something of our own..It became tangible..Started from sketches, to samples, and then to clothes which ready to sell.. We try to use as best as we can, what we know and what we can do, to offer a collection that represent ourselves..

So.........without further ado..Say hello to Za Za Zu..=)
